I had to go and buy re-fills for one of my Copics today after the 24 hour challenge, and I picked up two new ones: the colours you see here.

One of the other entries this year made great use of two simple colours in blocks, and I've been dying to try it out, so the first doodle I did when I got home... well duh.

There's some stuff I need to work out to do with line thickness around the colours, I was just experimenting here with everything really, colour, light source, perspective, line...

Oh, and the quote is from a cartoon in the Raymond Pettibon book I'm reading... which I think he quoted from Baudelaire. But I could be well wrong...

I'm curious when and where you did the 24 Hour Challenge. I'm getting the feeling it wasn't part of the About Comics 24 Hour Comics Day event, just based on the dates this was posted, but I wasn't aware that there were more of them out there. I'm kind of a junky for 24 Hour Comics.

By the way, this is kinda scary at any hour, well done.
